Bet you can't guess what the girls wanted...
Preschool has been busy the last few weeks. There was the Mother Goose program. Madeline's special part was being the grandfather clock in Hickory, Dickory Dock. Adorable. Loved it.
There was also the farm field trip -- to a farm literally less than a mile from our house. The kiddos got to see baby chicks, climb in the tractor, smell some homemade soaps, and learned all about the farm from the farmer's wife Mrs. Griffeon (who has been giving farm tours to Small Discoveries since her daughter was a student 20-some years ago!).
This week the kiddos walked to a nearby park one day to play and had a PJ day which included watching a video AND eating popcorn.
Big stuff for a preschooler.
And the today was Fun Day in the church fellowship hall. Audrey and I stopped by to visit. It was like a mini carnival! Face painting, tattooing bike riding outside, snacks, crafts and games. Madeline came home with four princess tattoos and a face painted with a butterfly, rainbow and a heart.
We've had such a great two years at preschool. Madeline's teachers are amazing. Always cheerful and smiling. On more than one morning their warm preschool welcome was just what I needed to reset my day after a rough morning. We've got one more year before Audrey will be a student there. I think Audrey's already looking forward to it. She LOVES being at Madeline's school.
Next stop for us: Summertime!

The years go quickly. Enjoy each day! Many new adventures await both the parents and the children. Seems only yesterday we were doing some of the same things with you.

Take care.
