Watch James Grow: ONE YEAR!

The series of photos that I attempted to take for J-Dub's one year picture say it all.  And, yes, I took them today.  Approaching two weeks late.

Nice sign you made there, Mom.

He constantly moves.  James is a man on the go.

Two days ago he wasn't even trying to stand up or pull up or do anything but crawl.  Although he does do a nice downward dog.  Then yesterday he pulled up on his own about ten times and later climbed up two steps on the front stair.  He's done even more today.

His sisters didn't even notice the stairs until they were maybe 18 months old, let alone try to climb them.

Let me just climb up on your legs and see what you're doing there.

James has eight teeth.

His hairy is a sandy brown, not quite as auburn as Madeline's.  He's got these sweet little wavy curls in the back. And sometimes the top goes faux-hawk crazy.  He's has Audrey's crystal clear blue eyes.

He nursed for the last time the day after his first birthday.  And started sleeping through the night the same night.  Amazing how that works.  He realizes that Mom's not going to feed me anymore and decides to sleep it out.

What was that you said?  Look at the camera?

Toys are just not that interesting.  Cardboard boxes, laundry baskets, kitchen cabinets and electrical outlets are interesting.

Oh, I'd love to smile for a picture!  {While sitting on that sign you keep trying to hide from me.}

He's become quite the bedtime snuggler.  So absolutely sweet.  Doing my best to enjoy all the little cuddles.  He's already growing up so fast!
