they're already conspiring against me

Madeline: Practically yelling in Audrey's ear.
Me: Madeline, I don't think Audrey likes it when you speak so loudly in her face.
Madeline: She likes it, Mom.
Audrey: Giggles.

Me: Madeline, let's not dance so close to Audrey's head. I don't think she likes that.
Madeline: But she likes it, Mom.
Audrey: Squeals of joy.

Me: Please don't tap your foot on Audrey's belly.  That's not very nice.
Madeline: See. She likes it.
Audrey: Grinning from ear to ear with each tap.

Madeline: Making faces, talking with her mouth full of food, giggling, doing anything BUT eating her supper.
Me: It's time to finish up our supper.
Audrey: Laughing non-stop.

Madeline has some gas.
Me: Disapproving look. What do you say?
Audrey: Clapping, grinning, chuckling.
Madeline: Excuse me. Looks at Audrey. Giggles.
