Race Day

Darrin's been looking forward to this weekend since Christmas.  A trip to see Indy racing just a few miles down the road from our house.

What started as a rainy morning cleared up to be a beautiful, mild summer afternoon.

We had great seats and a pass to the "fan walk" which took us almost to pit row all for a bargain price.  It was super fun.  

I did get dirty looks from a more serious race fan for my comment about Helio being on Dancing with the Stars.  Hey, my husband is willing to do whatever it takes to fan my extremely slight interest in auto racing.
