Audrey at 18 months

The Bear is officially one and a half.  She thinks she's four or maybe even fourteen.

She wants to do everything that big sister does.

Well, except walking.  Still no independent walking.  Everything else, though.  Pulling up, pushing cars, climbing the stairs, wall-walking, using Madeline's step stool to reach everything in sight, and generally attempting to destroy any trace of organization in my home.

Of course now that I've finally scheduled a home visit with AEA to have her evaluated for not walking, she's started taking 4-5 steps on her own the last few days.

Other than that, she's a typical non-walking toddler.  Scooting herself across the room, the yard, the store, the library....anywhere -- all on her bottom.  Her clothes will be pretty much destroyed by the end of the season.  She's scooted her way through several pairs of pants.  The rest of them are stained a dingy, dirty grey on the bottom.

Yet, shockingly, my floors are still dirty.

In the time it takes me to unload the dishwasher or make lunch, she can destroy the tupperware cabinet, help herself to some Cheerios from the pantry and dump an entire tub of foam stickers all over the kitchen floor.

She's a spunky one.
