thankful day 12: day off

Grateful that my husband had the day off today and he offered to be on stay-at-home-dad duty so I could have a quiet day to myself.

It was lovely.

A tough Body Pump class (I may not be able to walk tomorrow after all those lunges and squats), a leisurely stroll through Target with an egg nog latte, a little Christmas shopping, a quiet lunch alone at Panera with a new book to read, and time to clean up my scrapbooking mess.

Then, we capped it off with a delicious dinner of beef and noodles with Grandma and Papa.

A fantastic day.
