thankful day 2: spunky monkey

I enter Madeline's room last night to find Audrey standing on the desk chair helping herself to the hand sanitizer.

In a stern voice I say disapprovingly, "Audrey. Elizabeth."

To which she turns around and sweetly says, "Whaaa?"

I put her on the ground and tell her that we do not stand on chairs.

Then I go get my camera.  To take a picture for the blog.  Of course.  

I ask, "Audrey, how did you reach the sanitizer?"

She walks to the chair, climbs on it, stands up, turns around and says, "Cheeeeeeese!"

Lord have mercy.
